CREATION OF THE GAUMONT AWARD
To mark this collaboration, the Nikon Film Festival is introducing the Gaumont Award, with a dedicated jury that will recognize two outstanding works: one in the short film category and another in the mini-series category.
The two winners will receive personalized mentorship from Gaumont producers, who will support them in developing their projects by sharing their expertise and experience.
The Gaumont jury, composed of five in-house producers, will be chaired by Sidonie Dumas, CEO of Gaumont.
NIKON FILM FESTIVAL
The Nikon Film Festival is an event that encourages video creation, allowing anyone to create and share a short film for free.
The challenge is simple: create one or more short films of 2 minutes and 20 seconds based on a given theme each year. This format is ideal for online distribution, offering creative freedom while minimizing technical constraints that could limit accessibility.

THEME
As a tribute to the first edition of the Nikon Film Festival, which had the theme "I am a hero", the 15th edition challenges participants with the theme "A Superpower". This new theme is introduced in a teaser video directed by Arthur Chays, winner of the Best Directing Award at the Nikon Film Festival in 2022.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Registration for the Nikon Film Festival will be available directly on the website via an online form. This platform will also allow participants to submit and view short films. All participation conditions can be found in the contest rules, accessible on the official website.
