Twenty years on, Chassol takes a contemporary look at the Gaumont catalog with an exhibition, concert and series of screenings at the crossroads of music and cinema, presented at La Gaîté Lyrique.
Les Marguerites Gaumont by Chassol is a collection of excerpts from fifteen films that Chassol has reworked, set to music, arranged and edited into "ultrascores". This technique is one of Chassol's artistic signatures, in which each syllable is translated into a musical note.

The title "Les Marguerites Gaumont" is a nod to founder Léon Gaumont, who adopted a daisy, marguerite in French, as his logo in 1903, as a tribute to his mother Marguerite Dupanloup.
