A poor young man and a ravishing dancer meet in Cambodia. A wonderful bird promises them love, and the young lovers follow the path to their destiny. However, things go hard with them as life is not kind to the pure-hearted. At last, in a sacred place amidst flower garlands and birdsong, death unites the lovers.
