Judex, a mysterious self-appointed law-enforcer, takes on the fight against Favraux, a banker, who has used every dirty trick in the book to make his money. Judex kidnaps the impostor and locks him up in the basement of his hideaway. But Diana, an adventurer who was to marry the banker, thwarts Judex's plans. She plots to get rid of Favraux's daughter, but Judex is watching over the girl with loving care.
