At the beginning of the century, in Haute Provence, five persons are massacred in an inn. In 1920, the only survivor returns to the village in search of his past. Impervious to the girls and their charms, Séraphin can only think of his revenge. But each time he is about to kill one of the guilty parties, he is forestalled by a mysterious person.
