Narcos (Season 5)

Our season picks up shortly after the events of 410; Félix Gallardo is at the top of the Guadalajara Cartel and Mexico's #1 narco. Things quickly become complicated for El Padrino, as the murder of DEA agent Kiki Camarena has put a spotlight on the cartel and all connected to it. This spotlight will come in the form of Walt Breslin, a hardened DEA agent who is leading the team tasked with taking down those responsible for Kiki's death. Through backroom dealings with politicians, negotiating between warring plazas and betrayals of once-trusted allies, we'll watch an increasingly desperate Félix stop at nothing to keep control of Mexico's drug trade. As Walt's investigation leads him further down a rabbit hole, he will blur the line between justice and revenge, putting his team in greater and greater danger. This season viewers will also bear witness to the beginning of the war between Chapo Guzmán and the Arellano Félix Brothers, an unlikely romance between a plaza boss and a Texas senator's daughter and the rigging of a presidential election.
